Annette Elizabeth Giles Green, age 53, passed away February 17, 2022, at Ascension Providence Hospital in Waco, Texas. A memorial celebration service was held Saturday, February 26, at 2 pm at Wilkerson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel located at 6101 Bosque Boulevard in Waco with Michael Honza officiating. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 2 pm at Throckmorton Cemetery in Throckmorton, Texas, with Reverend Jim Wright officiating. Elizabeth was born December 19, 1968, in Waco, Texas, to Annette Cooper Giles and Claude “Dogie” Giles. She grew up in Waco and attended Reicher Catholic High School before moving to Throckmorton and graduating from Throckmorton High School in 1987. After graduation she attended Texas A&M University and the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor. She graduated from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 1993 and a Master of Arts in Psychology in 1997. She became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 1998 and worked at the Family Abuse Center and in private practice. Elizabeth loved history, old movies, and music. She was a talented artist and enjoyed cooking and baking. She used her skills and thoughtfulness while volunteering with Midway PTA and Vacation Bible School and supporting her children’s activities. Her decorated cupcakes earned her the nickname “Cupcake Lady” at Woodway Elementary and many kids received a hand painted, personalized treat bag from her before dance competitions. She was a member of Woodway First United Methodist Church. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, William Kendall Green, and her father, Claude “Dogie” Giles. Survivors include her daughter, Tara Frymark and husband Cameron of Waco, her son, Cooper Green of Richardson, her mother, Anne Pruett of Waco, her sister, Catherine Cook and husband Jack of Crawford, and her brother, Lewis Giles and wife Cindy of Waco.
